Formerly a faculty member of the Toronto Associated Conservatory of Music, Barbara Fris has taught voice for
more than 25 years.  Her teaching career is presently based in Toronto, where she now maintains a large, private
voice studio, conveniently located 5 minutes from the TTC Warden Subway Station.  
Musical Theatre, Opera & Classical
  • Learn a method of singing that will give you the ability to sing with technical
    assurance, confidence and pleasure.

  • Barbara’s extensive musical theatre, opera and classical repertoire, gained over 25
    years of professional singing, is suited to both new and advanced singers.

  • Her students include singer/song-writers, performers, soloists, choristers and
    students enrolled in performing arts schools throughout the GTA and at various
    universities.
Quality Private Instruction
  • Barbara offers comprehensive instruction in vocal technique, diction,
    pronunciation, languages and musicality.  Her aim is to teach you a method of
    singing that will enable you to sing with pleasure and confidence.

  • Private instruction is offered throughout the year (Monday through Saturday) in
    her studio conveniently located within 5 minutes of the Warden TTC Subway.
Audition Preparation & Coaching
  • Students successfully complete Royal Conservatory of Music Vocal & Theory
    Examinations.

  • Vocal and monologue training to meet entrance requirements for Performing Arts
    Schools through-out the GTA (Claude Watson, Earl Haig, Wexford, Unionville &
    Agincourt Collegiate) and Colleges & Universities.

Performing Opportunities
