The celebrated Canadian soprano next appears at the McMichael Art Gallery as part of
their Sunday Concert Series with pianist Hyuntak Lee.

 Barbara Fris is one of Canada's finest singers.  Recently declared "one of
Toronto’s most artistic, creative and inspiring women” by the Luminato Festival, Ms. Fris continues to
have a luminous career captivating her audiences on the international opera, concert and recital stages.
Ms. Fris, whose career has embraced opera, operetta, musical theatre and lieder for more than 25 years,
has given sold-out performances on some of the finest concert stages in the world. Her personal charisma
and vocal beauty continue to endear her to audiences.

Her programme offering includes R. Strauss'
"Four Last Songs", Canadian composers Jana Skarecky's
"Planet Earth" and Mary Gardiner's "A Pot of Gold", R. Wagner's "Wesendonk Lieder",
"Glück das mir verblieb"

Kleinburg, Ontario. Tel: (905) 893-1121 or toll free 1-888-213-1121.  The concert is free with admission to
the Gallery.  Tickets are $30-$12. Reservation: Not Required.  

The gallery is located at 10365 Islington Avenue, Kleinburg, Ontario, just north of Major Mackenzie Drive,
easily accessible from Highways 27, 50, 400, 401, 407 and 427.  It houses an extensive collection of
paintings by Tom Thomson, the Group of Seven and their contemporaries, and First Nations and Inuit
artists.
