After 25 years since her professional opera debut
with the Calgary Opera, Canadian soprano
BARBARA FRIS celebrates this special milestone
by sharing the concert stage with emerging
classical pianist and accompanist RICKER
CHOI. Their duo vocal and piano recital at
Walter Hall (Toronto) on Friday, November 20,
2009 at 8:00 pm is a benefit concert in aid of
Oxfam Canada.
Their programme offering includes Strauss: Four
Last Songs, Wagner: Wesendonck Lieder,
Chopin: Ballade No. 4 in F minor, Ravel: La Valse,
Mendelssohn: Variations Sérieuses and
audience favorites from Miss Fris’ performing
career.
